Request memos

A sourcing desk, not a warehouse

Edge Fabrics is run by Web Landscapes LLC, a Florida company in Miami that builds and runs small online businesses. It started in October 2026.

Why it exists

The best upholstery fabric is sold to the trade. The houses that stock it open accounts for designers and upholsterers, not for someone re-covering two armchairs, and a small workroom can't hold an account and a sample library at every house a client might point to.

Between the trade-only houses and the retail sites with a sample button there is room for a person who pulls memos against a brief, reads the spec sheet against the piece, chases the cutting for approval and has the goods shipped to the workroom. That's the whole service.

No stock, because stock means guessing what you'll want and charging you for the guess.

Who does the work

Javier Carnicer founded Web Landscapes and runs Edge Fabrics. He takes the brief, pulls the memos, checks the yardage and places the orders. You deal with one person from the first email to the parcel at the workroom.

What we are

A sourcing and buying service. We find, sample, check and order fabric from trade suppliers, and the supplier ships it to you.

What we aren't

Not a mill, not a stockist, not a workroom. We don't upholster, sew or hold goods, and we don't promise how long a fabric will last. The spec is the mill's test; we explain it.

House rules

Every memo with its sheet. A cutting for approval before any cut, where the supplier offers it. One order, one dye lot. No returns on cut goods, said up front, not in the small print.
