Terms of service
Last updated: 30 October 2026. These terms cover the memo sets and fabric sourcing sold by Web Landscapes LLC, a Florida company trading as Edge Fabrics ("we", "us"), and the free tools on edgefabrics.com. Questions go to contact@edgefabrics.com or (786) 372-0287.
1. What we do
We find fabric for you from wholesalers, mills and showrooms we have access to, send memo samples with the specification the supplier publishes, check the yardage you give us against the fabric's width, repeat and match, request a cutting for approval where the supplier offers one, and place the order with the supplier in our name for shipment to the address you give us. We hold no stock. The supplier manufactures, cuts and ships the fabric.
2. What we don't do
- We don't upholster, sew or install, and we don't take responsibility for a workroom's work.
- We don't test fabric. Specifications are the supplier's or mill's published figures and we pass them on as published. We explain what they mean; we don't warrant how a fabric will perform or how long it will last on your piece.
- We don't give professional advice on fire codes or compliance. If a project needs a particular standard, you tell us and we source fabric whose published spec states it; the certificate is the mill's.
3. Prices and payment
- Memo sets: free, up to eight memo samples per request.
- Fabric: the supplier's price to us plus 15%, with a minimum fee of $45 an order, quoted to you as one per-yard price. Shipping from the supplier is charged at the carrier's rate, and Florida sales tax is added where it applies. Prices are in US dollars.
- Fabric is paid in full against our invoice before we place the order. The quote is valid for the period stated on it, usually 14 days, because supplier prices and stock change.
- Supplier minimums apply and are stated in the quote.
4. Colour, cuttings for approval and dye lots
Memo samples may come from an earlier dye lot and may differ from the roll you receive. Where the supplier offers it, we send a cutting for approval from the roll your order will be cut from, and we don't place the cut until you approve it in writing (email or text is fine). If you ask us to skip the cutting, you accept the lot as shipped. One order comes from one dye lot; a later order may not match.
5. No returns on cut goods
Fabric is cut to your order and cannot be returned or exchanged, by the supplier or by us, except as set out in section 6. Please check the yardage and the cutting for approval before you pay.
6. Flaws and wrong deliveries
If fabric arrives damaged, flawed, short, or different from the cutting you approved, tell us within seven days of delivery with photographs and before the fabric is cut. We take the claim to the supplier and pass on whatever replacement, credit or refund the supplier gives. Suppliers don't accept claims on cut fabric, so neither can we. Our own liability for an error on our side (for example, ordering a different fabric, colour or yardage from the one you approved) is to correct it at our cost.
7. Your part
- Give us accurate measurements, a cut list or yardage, and the spec your project needs. The yardage we order is the yardage you confirm.
- Approve the cutting for approval and the quote in writing before we order.
- Give us a delivery address where someone can receive a parcel. Title and risk in the fabric pass to you when the carrier delivers it.
8. The free tools
The cutting plan, spec guide and weave library run in your browser and save nothing to our servers. They're for general information, built on published charts and typical cut sizes, and provided as is. The workroom's measurement is the one to order from.
9. Liability
We do our work with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the order concerned, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as a delayed job, a workroom's charges or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Before going to court, we both agree to try to resolve it by talking first.
11. Changes
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. The terms in force when you pay for an order are the ones that apply to it.
